Tyre cross-section showing the steel belt layers and carcass beneath the tread

0° steel belt radial construction

The steel belt under the tread is wound parallel to the direction of rotation, so the shape holds at speed.

Press TOURENFAHRER

Wound at zero degrees over the radial casing, the steel belt restrains a tread that centrifugal force is trying to expand.

The rider sees the result in two places: stability at speed and less deformation in corners. The construction is used across the Trailhound family.

High-silica compound

A compound with raised silica content improves grip on cold and wet asphalt.

Press Moto.it

Rubber stiffens as it cools and loses grip. Raising the silica content keeps the compound flexible at low temperature, and the contact patch also works better on a wet surface.

The compound is used in the Bee Wild and Trailhound families.

Quadrazone multicompound

On selected Trailhound STR rear sizes the tread is built from distinct compound zones, each with a different job.

Press 1000PS

A single compound cannot do everything at once: the centre needs low rolling resistance and mileage, the shoulder needs cornering grip.

Quadrazone separates those demands into zones across the same tread. The technology is present on selected Trailhound STR rear sizes; the front tyre does not carry it.

Climber series enduro tyre

Symmetrical knobs — the tyre can be reversed

On the Climber XC-R the knob geometry is symmetrical, so the tyre can be refitted the other way round once one side is worn.

Press Endurista

On an enduro tyre, wear usually collects on one side. Cutting the knobs symmetrically allows the tyre to be turned around on the rim when that side is gone.

This is not a performance claim but a construction decision about service life. The Climber XC-R is designed to comply with FIM Enduro rules.
